The power of personal coaching | Chan’s journey to success
We’ve all been there. Feeling like we’re stuck at the crossroads of life, unsure of which direction to take for the greatest sense of fulfilment, and not knowing what exactly we’re searching for.
For Chan, he was no different. Deeply embedded in a niche area of commercial real estate sales, he just wasn’t thriving. Despite his love for the small, tight-knit team environment, something crucial was missing.
Sure, he loved the teamwork, but there were elements that just didn’t align with his personality. Lucky for Chan, his straight-shooting boss whom I had known and worked with across many years, recognised this and with Chan’s best interests at heart sought my expertise to coach Chan through this situation.
After a heart-to-heart with Chan, it became clear: his ultimate dream was to be at the helm of his own business. But first, he needed to bolster his confidence and acquire more refined skills in the commercial sector.

Chan secured a position as a Business Banker with BNZ, a role that not only aligned with his vast real estate experience but also positioned him perfectly for future entrepreneurial endeavours.
Fast forward to today, Chan now operates an Anytime Fitness franchise business alongside his wife. They are on track to meet their financial aspirations while beginning a new, exciting chapter in their lives.
